Executive Assistant

 

Overall Responsibility

 

The SRA may hire an Executive Assistant, whose duties shall be to assist the members of the Massachusetts State Referee Committee in the carrying out of their jobs.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

 

The Executive Assistant shall possess administrative ability and secretarial, computer and bookkeeping skills, and knowledge of web database systems.  As the Executive Assistant may interact frequently with other members of the soccer community, good communication skills are required.

 

Administrative Roles in conjunction with the SRA, SDI, SDA, SAC, SYRA:

·         Maintains calendar of activities and schedules meetings

·         Assists in processing referee transfers to and from other states

·         Under the supervision of the Treasurer, prepares deposits and disbursements, and other bookkeeping duties

·         Assists in the recruiting of referee candidates

·         Assists in the publication and dissemination of all MSRC programs and initiatives

·         Under the supervision of the SDI, assists in the fulfillment of course materials and badges

·         Under the supervision of the SDA, assists in the assignment of assessors to matches

·         Coordinates referees traveling to youth and adult tournaments

·         Makes sure there is a clear and direct communication with all members of the State’s referee program through email and other means

·         Provides assistance and works closely with all other staff as needed

·         Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

 

Consults with

 

The Executive Assistant reports directly to the SRA, and shall work in cooperation with and under the direction of the Massachusetts State Referee Committee in all aspects administering the Federation referees within the State. 

 

Term

 

The Executive Assistant shall be hired for a specified two (2) year term and may be rehired.
