Past State Referee Administrator (Past SRA)
Overall Responsibility
The Past SRA serves as a resource for the current SRA, and for the Referee Committee, and provides advice and guidance on an as-needed basis. The Past SRA is a member of the Executive Committee but may not vote.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Past SRA has no specific responsibilities, but at the request of the SRA, shall provide assistance in performing functions related to the running of the program at the state level. The Past SRA may assume the duties of the SRA in the event of a prolonged absence or incapacitation of the SRA.
Consults with
The Past SRA shall work in cooperation with the Referee Committee and may serve as a liaison to the National Referee Committee and State Association, at the request of the SRA.
Term
The Past SRA is pro-forma and not subject to an appointment process. A currently serving and duly appointed SRA becomes the Past SRA at the end of his term, unless removed for cause. The Past SRA serves until such time as the next SRA has been replaced.
