Overall
Responsibility
A Course Administrator may be hired, whose duties shall be to assist in the logistical planning and carrying out of courses, and in assisting and placing students into the proper course.
Key Areas of
Responsibility
The Course Administrator shall possess general administrative ability. As the Course Administrator may interact frequently with many outside vendors and coordinate payments, good communication and organizational skills are required.
Administrative Roles in conjunction with the SDI:
· Schedule sufficient number of courses to meet the expected needs of affiliated leagues.
· Publicize schedule to leagues and through other means to help recruit students.
· Procure suitable venues and confirm bookings of all scheduled courses.
· Adjust annual materials shipment from USSF to ensure sufficient course material.
· Collect payments and resolve payment issues with students, forwards checks for deposit.
· Manage course waitlist to ensure maximum attendance.
· Arrange instructor manpower to accommodate course demand.
· Communicate pre-course study materials to students, monitor progress and test results.
· Resolve issues and report results to Registrar.
Consults with
The Course Administrator reports directly to the SDI and shall work in cooperation with the Massachusetts State Referee Committee.
Term
The Course Administrator shall be hired for a specified one (1) year term and may be rehired.
