Announcement: MSRC

The Massachusetts State Referee Committee announced this week that there have several changes in the organization which go into effect immediately.

Rich Frongillo, who has been State Referee Administrator for the past four years is stepping down. Andy Weiss, former State Youth Referee Administrator and more recently Director of Assessment takes over the job from Rich.

NigelBright_s.JPG - 8134 BytesEd Rae is leaving as State Director of Instruction. Nigel Bright, who has been Ed’s assistant for the past year will take over the reins as SDI. Nigel was last year’s Instructor of the Year and is also a State Assessor. Ed plans to stay involved, working on instructor development.

MilanRobbins_s.JPG - 8071 BytesReplacing Andy as State Director of Assessment is Milan Robbins, a State Assessor who has worked closely with Andy and is a previous winner of Assessor of the Year.

Massachusetts has a reputation for having one of the best referee organizations in the country, and the changes made should only make the organization even stronger. Fortunately for all of us, Ed and Rich will continue to make significant contributions to the program.
