Ferragamo earns National recognition

July 19, 2004 -- It was announced today by the United States Youth Soccer Association that Anthony Ferragamo of Easton is the 2004 National Young Male Referee of the Year. Anthony was informed of the honor by the 1994 National Young Referee of the Year, Erich Simmons (North Reading), in a conference call this morning. Only the second referee from Massachusetts to win the award, Anthony was both excited and humbled to hear the news.

Fresh off his busy tournament schedule including semifinal and final appearances for State Cup, Massachusetts Tournament of Champions, and Region 1 National Championship series (aka Regionals) Anthony attended the MSRC Awards Night banquet with his proud parents Tony and Veronica Ferragamo.
