It is with deep regret that we note the sudden passing of David J. Roy (53), husband, father, and USSF soccer referee. David died Sunday, November 4, 2001, after suffering a massive stroke last week, while jogging near his home in Littleton, MA.
David is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, and two sons. He was active in the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League and throughout the state. At tournaments Dave Roy was recognized for his skill, judgement and dedication to the game. Roy recieved his upgrade to USSF Grade 7 in 1999.
The wake will be held Tuesday, November 6 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street (route 2A), Littleton, MA. Tel: 978-506-3709
The funeral will be Wednesday, November 7 at 11 AM, at the Trinitarian Baptist Church, Bolton, MA
