MSRC To Host Two Clinics in August

Advanced Clinic with Jim Allen on August 2nd

The Massachusetts State Referee Committee (MSRC) is hosting an Advanced Clinic on Saturday, August 2, 2003, 8:30am-12:30pm. This course is appropriate for State Referees (grade 5 and 6) and other referees seeking advancement or additional, high level training. An electronic application needs to be submitted in advance.

We are fortunate to have National Instructor Staff/National Assessor Jim Allen as the clinician for this course. Allen is an authority on the Laws of the Game writing many instructional pieces for USSF, editing the wonderful Advice to Referees guidebook, and hosting "Ask a Soccer Referee", an online service provided by US Soccer.

Intermediate Clinic on August 23

The MSRC is hosting an Intermediate Clinic on Saturday, August 23, 2003, 8am-3pm suitable to meet the requirements of referees seeking upgrade to grade 7 and others interested in more advanced discussions. The clinic will include an opportunity to take a USSF fitness test for upgrade or grade maintenance. An electronic application needs to be submitted in advance.

To help offset some of the expenses for these clinics, a donation of $10 for this clinic is requested.
