NOTES
  • Full fitness specifications are outlined in the USSF fitness requirements section in the Referee Administrative Handbook.
  • * This is a make-up session only for those who failed to meet fitness test requirements in 2007, or for those wishing to upgrade. This test may not be used for referees wishing to meet recertification requirements for 2009

NISOA REFEREES WHO ARE ALSO USSF REFEREES

Since 2002 NISOA fitness tests have not been considered equivalent to USSF fitness tests for the purposes of USSF grade maintenance or upgrade, but we tried to run the tests concurrently. In 2005, changes to the NISOA fitness test differentiate it further from the USSF test. Massachusetts referees who areaffiliated with both USSF and NISOA will require separate testing for each affiliation and may not take the tests at the same venue.
